Bladnoch Alinta

Alinta, a smoky single malt whisky from the Bladnoch Distillery, is named after the indigenous Australian word meaning "fire" and "flames" found in several Southern Australian languages—a fitting connection considering its smoky character. This expression is crafted from a blend of first-fill bourbon casks and first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, resulting in a richly flavoursome whisky. The aroma presents dark chocolate, roasted almonds, and a hint of heather honey. On the palate, it remains smoky and nutty with developing notes of cinder toffee and cassia. The finish is characterised by a lingering sweet smoke.
