Highland Park Cask Strength - Release No.4

The fourth release of Highland Park Cask Strength underwent a 14-year maturation in an assortment of casks. This single malt predominantly aged in first fill sherry seasoned European and American oak casks, with smaller contributions from refill, bourbon, and Port casks, before being bottled at a cask strength of 64.3%. On the nose, waves of zesty citrus, toasted oak, and vanilla mingle with charred heather and fragrant peat smoke. On the palate, citrus blossom, juicy grapefruit, and rose tea provide a zesty and floral profile, complemented by aromatic woody spices and vibrant peat. The finish reveals a touch of anise, warming notes of clove, and sweeter baking spices, with lingering heather and soft smoke.
