A remarkable addition to Glen Moray's Warehouse 1 series, this exquisite Speyside single malt has been delightfully finished in amontillado sherry casks. Distilled in 2013, it initially matured in bourbon casks before undergoing a two-year finishing period, with the final yield drawn from just four casks producing 1,248 bottles. The nose reveals aromas of praline, oily malt, and cooked apple. On the palate, it offers woody, nutty dryness, complemented by notes of orange curd and fresh tobacco. The finish is characterised by a distinctive leafy green note that lingers alongside toasted nuts.
